Our History
Since 1967, the Mineola Hay Show has brought agriculture and community together in support of East Texas producers and the next generation of agricultural leaders. The first Hay Show was held at Mineola’s historic Select Theater and was organized by the Mineola Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Committee as an educational program for local hay producers. Nearly six decades later, that mission continues to grow. Today, the Mineola Hay Show remains committed to promoting quality hay production and agricultural education while raising funds to support local agricultural programs, student opportunities, and scholarships. What began as a program for producers has become a lasting Mineola tradition—celebrating agriculture, investing in students, and strengthening the future of our agricultural community.
